Lotos Poker launched as a Russian-only poker room and was part of the 888 poker network. Then in 2016, the operator opted to join the biggest Asian network — the GG poker network. This move resulted in a massive stream of Asian traffic and a weakened player pool. At the same time, Lotos Poker kept its focus on Russian players and they are still able to enjoy the client in Russian and to transact with their most convenient payment options. Lotos Poker holds a gaming license issued by the government of Curacao.
The GG poker network caters heavily to the recreational players and the promotions are specifically designed to attract them. The network is also a trendsetter in terms of innovations and improving the online poker experience.
Lotus Poker offers Hold’em and Omaha cash tables, Sit ‘n’ Go and multi-table tournaments, and a Spin-and-go variant called Fortune poker. There are also All-in or Fold tables for the lovers of high-risk endeavors. Unfortunately, there are no heads-up games at all.

Traffic review
The traffic at Lotos Poker peaks in the evenings Asia time (UTC+4 –UTC+8). That would be the afternoons in Central and Western Europe. At peak hours there are more than 1,700 players online. Most of them occupy the NL Hold’em games, where you can find almost 20 tables at the micro stakes, 13-14 tables on low stakes, and another 7-8 on mid stakes. The PLO traffic is very impressive as well. There are at least 6-7 live tables at the micro and low stakes, and at least a couple more at the mid stakes and all the way up to $20/$40 and $25/$50.
The guarantees at Lotos Poker are very popular thanks to their daily prize pool of $100,000. Those tournaments offer great value for your money, as you will encounter at least a couple of amateurs at every table.
Software & trackers
On top of being reliable and fast, Lotos Poker’s software sports a number of cool features that you won’t find outside the GG network. One such option is the All-in Insurance, which allows you to insure your strong hands against bad beats. You can also use the Tournament Staking feature and back another player to win or let others support you by purchasing a piece of your action.
Unfortunately, due to its policy designed to benefit the casual players, Lotos Poker does not support the use of poker trackers.

Rakeback & bonuses
As a new player, you can take advantage of the generous Lotos Poker welcome bonus of up to $2,000, which amounts to 10% of rakeback. Once you’ve made your first deposit, you need to claim the bonus by going to My Bonus > Welcome bonus in the poker client. For every $10 you pay in rake, you will release $1 from the bonus. The signup bonus will be active for 90 days.
In addition to that, Lotos Poker has a loyalty scheme called Fish Buffet, which offers rakeback of up to 50%. You get one FP for each $0.01 paid in rake or tournaments fees.
